Here you will find pictures and biographies for all of the families that I own. Over the years so many families and figures have been released, so this section of the site will most likely always be getting updates. I have tried to group the families into years of release, with the families in blocks of five years. Some families have had grandparents released with them, you will find them under the family section also. Some families have had uncles, aunties and cousins etc released at later dates, these figures are also with their relevant family biography. In some cases, there are families which have been released twice, but in different outfits. If I have collected both versions of the family, I have created my own biography for those characters and added them to their relevant family. The vast majority of character biographies are the official ones, released on the box, or in collector booklets or club magazines. I have tried to put the JP releases into the correct year group, but some families might have ended up in the UK year of release. I have also included some information about the year of release at the bottom of each family page, this information I have taken from collector books, boxes, and research on the internet. It may not be 100% accurate.

The Weddings
There have been several weddings over the years in the Sylvanian village. When Sylvanians first launched, there were four wedding sets available in the range. Over the years more have been added. Here you can read about all the happy couples.
